![]() Extensive BOTOX and Dermal Filler Training! As professionals we understand the importance of proper training and becoming certified. Unfortunately, the current trend in training is to hold large classes in hotel banquet halls or in restaurants, which has created a large pool of students who are improperly trained. These practitioners get inconsistent results from their services. A patient’s first reaction to BOTOX or Dermal Fillers is the fear of looking fake or going home with drooping eyelids. So, Allied Health has partnered with leading educators to create our own accessible and affordable BOTOX and Dermal Filler training courses. What To ExpectThe Allied Health Association has partnered with leading educators to create our own accessible and affordable BOTOX and Dermal Filler training course. Each allied Health course offers an intensive eight hour hands on education, specifically designed for BOTOX cosmetic use and Dermal Filler injections. The first four hours are dedicated to didactic training, covering anatomy, physiology, and injecting techniques. Classroom training includes the anatomy of the face, where the muscles are located, what they are called, and where they show on the face. You will also learn how to inject into the muscles or tissue, the best procedure for injections, and the expected result of the injection. Although the injection itself is a very important part of the process of treatment, consultation is just as important for you and your clients. Each student will learn and understand how to consult with patients about the possible side effects, pre and post treatment issues, as well as the treatment process itself. During the last four hours of the class, students receive hands-on training under the supervision of our physician. In this phase, it is important that students practice the techniques learned in the first four hours of class. Students are able to understand and see how to properly inject BOTOX or Dermal Fillers, how to avoid complications, and how to deliver consistently good results. With good hands-on training a practitioner should be able to go back to their spa and perform these treatments with confidence. In addition, we believe that class size is important in the learning process. That is why our classes are limited to no more that 6 students at a time. This allows the trainer to give advice and attention to individual students Who can perform these procedures?Any doctor, nurse practitioner, or physician’s assistant can administer the treatment after receiving proper training. Most importantly you need to check your state board guidelines. In some states an esthetician, under the supervision of an MD, may perform BOTOX or filler injections. It is also important to note that medical directors are advised if you are injecting and are not an MD.
How much does the class cost? The cost for each class is $1,295. If you take both classes together, they are $1,095 each. To register for the either training course you can call Allied Health at (800) 444-7546. We will need to know what date you would like to attend class. |
